Messaging compliance

Outbound messaging runs inside explicit permission and delivery controls.

ServicePilot provides operational controls for responsible business messaging. The workspace remains responsible for its audience, message purpose, and legal obligations.

Permission before outreach

Marketing messages require a recorded permission basis. Contacts without the required permission are not treated as eligible merely because their phone number exists in ServiceTitan.

  • Purpose-based consent records distinguish marketing from transactional communication.
  • Imported consent requires an operator attestation.
  • Permission gaps surface for operator action instead of triggering an automatic marketing send.

Opt-out and timing controls

The messaging path recognizes STOP, START, and HELP behavior, applies quiet-hour rules, and stops workflows when the underlying booking status changes.

  • STOP prevents further messages for the controlled purpose.
  • Quiet hours are enforced before outbound workflow actions.
  • Delivery and reply records remain available for operational review.

Carrier registration and legal responsibility

ServicePilot includes A2P 10DLC readiness tooling, but carrier approval is not guaranteed. These product controls are not legal advice and do not transfer responsibility for the business's message content, audience, or applicable law.
