Referral Program Terms
Last updated October 13, 2026. These rules cover the referral program inside ServicePilot. Paid use of the product is also covered by the applicable order form and customer agreement.
The reward
When you refer a new company and that company pays its first ServicePilot invoice, you receive a $1,000 gift card. The company you refer receives a $1,000 credit on its ServicePilot bill, applied before checkout so it reduces the first invoice. If that invoice has already been paid, the credit reduces the next one.
Gift cards are sent by ServicePilot after the first invoice payment succeeds. They are not cash, and ServicePilot chooses the card. ServicePilot may ask for a W-9 before sending a card and may issue a tax form when required. You are responsible for taxes on rewards you receive.
Who can refer
You can refer if you are at least 18 and you use the referral panel in your ServicePilot account or the personal link it gives you. You may not refer yourself, your own company, or a company that is already a ServicePilot customer.
ServicePilot may refuse a referral that is already in an active sales conversation, that you did not actually introduce, or that does not fit the product. One reward per new company. The first valid referral claims that company.
What counts
A referral counts when the new company starts through your link, or is the company you submitted in the referral panel, and then pays a first invoice. A demo, a signup, or an unpaid account does not earn the gift card.
The amounts above apply to referrals submitted while these terms are posted. If the reward changes, a referral already submitted keeps the amount stored on it. The current reward is $1,000 for you and $1,000 for the company you refer.
How you may share
You may share your link with people and companies you actually know, and on sites or social accounts you own. Say that you may receive a reward. You may not spam, buy ads for the link, bid on ServicePilot's name, impersonate ServicePilot, or pay someone else to use your link.
You may not make promises about ServicePilot beyond what the product and these terms say.
Changes and decisions
ServicePilot decides whether a referral qualifies, whether a gift card is owed, and whether a welcome credit applies. Those decisions are final except where the law says otherwise.
ServicePilot may change or end the program, including the reward, at any time. Ending the program stops new referrals. A gift card already owed for an invoice that was paid before the program ended is still sent. An unused welcome credit may be reversed if the referred company never pays a first invoice.
